here is a page of links to some really cool and interesting postcard related websites:
Postcard polaroid - Have you ever tried popping a stamp on a polaroid and dropping it in the post? Here’s a few we’ve sent each other. Send one to a friend. Or better still send us one. It’s way better than getting another bill.
Postcrossing – The goal of this project is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free. Well, almost free! The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you’ll receive at least one back, from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world.
Sendsomething – SendSomething.net is an on-line database of address and interests of people we like to call Mail Enthusiasts. Adding your name and address and supplying a list of things that interests you gives other Mail Enthusiasts the information they need to send postcards, letters, or packages – bought, found, or handmade – to appreciative recipients.
Postsecret – a place send your secrets to, on a postcard, and get them off your chest.
Postcardx – A bit like sendsomething. you send a randomly selected person something kind, talk about it, add yourself.
Swap-bot – Swap-bot facilitates group snail mail and internet swaps. It removes the hassle of collecting swap participants and assigning swap partners. Swap-bot is also a community where swappers can connect, share, and have fun.
